Math Resiliency....

In Class Today....

Science:
We did a write chat over what we learned so far in Chapter 13: Matter.   We then met in our Fed Ex groups.

Writing:
Students were introduced to the Direction Communication Process.  We went over the features of writing directions and the features of writing invitations.  We then read a sample set of directions on how to make a banana split.

This graphic organizer is due on Monday.

Math I:
We started reviewing for Friday's test.  Tomorrow we will do some more review.

Math II:
We measured the progress of Thurgood Middle School's Fundraiser over a course of days. Students had to estimate what fraction of completion of the goal for each day.  There were 2 methods for doing this.  Students were to complete the ACE work #3 - 10 by the end of BCO.


100-point Clue.....

These have been used in Asia for thousands of years.  Some of the very first ones were made from knuckle bones.  People used them for games and fortunetelling.  Schools use them for Math or for generating random numbers.
