An old student stopped by yesterday during conference.  For old-time sake I gave her a Math Resiliency problem.  She returned it today.

My Weekend......

Kinda weird, I'm posting about my weekend, meanwhile, I'm getting ready for another extended break.  Me likey.

Anyhow, Friday night I ran into Sam and his father while hiding the geocache.  Then right after they left I ran into Allyson and her family.  Pretty cool.   Afterwards I went to my mothers house and celebrated my sister's birthday.

Saturday, I coached Tristan's bball team, then we watched Ohio State beat Wisconsin in overtime.

Sunday, we put up Christmas decorations all day.

We had Bauserman's Locker Plate from the Sugar Bowl with us for good luck...one of the kids put their Ken doll there and said it was Joe.....Yes, I realize Ken doesn't have clothes on.

I woke up with the kids Sunday morning.  Now, mind you, I NEVER do this-- but just to be ornery, I gave Cooper a cupcake for breakfast, took his picture and sent it to my wife.

I believe her reply to this one was "OMG...Matt, are you serious?"

Brooklyn found that hat in a box, put it on, and just continued throughout her day.

After putting all the interior decorations up, I found Brooklyn in the kitchen later on in the night, playing with all the decorations on the table. That's right, after putting all the decorations up, my daughter went around and systematically took them all down again.



There are over 2,000 lights outlining my backyard....I feel like this guy:

Science:
We had a Fed Ex Day.  2 more Fed Ex Days until presentations and things are looking very well.

Writing:
Final Copies for our 2nd Directional Paper were turned in today.

Math:
We had a lot of fun in Math today!! Since we are doing fractions right now (Bits and Pieces) I put up 4 games on my blog.  Students who reached  certain benchmarks received point cards.

Thanksgiving Geocache....
