Tomorrow's Critical Thinker...

This one is brought to us by The Millers...

The Millers teach Math II.....

Mrs. Miller is the long-term substitute for Mrs. Cook.  Her daughter is a student at Miami University, who is studying to become a high school Math teacher.  Currently, Miss Miller is on break and has been volunteering her time at Hayes.

This morning, I asked The Millers if they wanted to come up with a Math lesson and teach it together.  They took me up on my offer, and I'm really glad they did, because it went very well. The kids were interested and challenged through out.  The critical thinker was spot on. The pacing was superb.

Kudos to them..

  • Miss Miller-
On top of putting together a well-designed and well-prepared lesson plan I felt you had exceptional classroom presence.

  • Mrs. Miller-
You should (as I'm sure you are) be very proud.

Now, if nobody minds, its my turn...Tristan, Brooklyn, and Cooper will be teaching Science tomorrow.  What do you think?  Think these 3 could hack it?.

The Octopus.....

Raj, Josh and a few others were able to build this old school amusement park ride, during BCO. It has a motor and does move on its own.   Nice, engineering guys.  I'd also like to thank The Davis' for donating these.
