Magic Cookie....
During BCO, Michaela passed out cookies for her birthday. Even though I am not her homeroom teacher, I still got a cookie. The kids in my class however, did not. This can be awkward, which it was.
What made it even more awkward was the fact that I had no idea that a cookie could be that good, and after tasting it, I reacted as though I was a miner who had struck gold.
Seriously.
It was so good that I had to double-check with Andrew (who also found a way to get one of these cookies from Michaela) to make sure that it was indeed as good as I was perceiving it to be. Andrew agreed that it was incredible, I then went on to sing the praises of this delicious baked good to a class filled with students who did not have one.
As is natural, the class started salivating over the cookies Andrew and I had, and before we knew it, these cookies had taken on a life of their own. We started referring to them as 'Magic Cookies'. A cookie that was made by a Wizard named Michaela who lived in a mystical land few have seen. A cookie that once tasted would make your heart sing like this:
Later on in BCO, Michaela came back over, placed another Magic Cookie down on my desk, and said 'Give this to your best behaved student' and then walked away. This action amplified the myth of the 'Magic Cookie' to epic proportions, as sheer pandemonium almost broke out and students started losing their cookie-loving minds!!
Needless to say at the end of BCO, the kids looked on in envy (Sophia in horror) as Autumn and Devin were picked to split the 'Magic Cookie'.
One thing is for sure, our lives may never be the same.
