Volunteer Help from an Ex-Student....
A past student came in to help out today. Jenna, is now a sophomore at a STEM school in Columbus, part of her requisites is to volunteer 20 hours a semester. Jenna helped me set-up for tomorrow's LED Project.
For those who don't know what a STEM school is:
STEM stands for Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics. STEM schools are designed around these areas.
I read on one website that STEM graduates --
"have the tools to become tomorrow’s architects, engineers, mathematicians, artists, doctors and scientist and will be among those that develop the next series of breakthrough innovations."

Of course...I have to embarrass her. Here's Jenna in 2009. |
LED's....
One of the reasons I so badly wanted to do something with LED's is because of it's future applications. Well-- the future is here. Check this out:
Yes, these are available now at Apple Stores. the cost? $200 for 3 bulbs.
New Science Schedule....
After looking at where we are with Invention Convention and needing more time for the LED Project, I decided to extend our deadline for IC until after Spring Break. Here's the new calendar:
Invention Convention Pictures....
Wait...that's not right. That's a picture of Cooper that my wife sent me today.
I guess somebody else sat in Cooper chair for lunch and he had a hard time believing that something so horrifying could ever happen to him. So, the little guy is protesting...Good luck, Coop. :)
Here's your pictures:
