Champions of Rivalry Week are.....
Congrats to Team Pink!!! Allyson, Sammy Saurus Rex, Alexander Spohn, Veronica, and Autumn
Field Day on Thursday.....
Students should pack a lunch, wear sunblock, shorts and short-sleeves, and take a drink (water, gatorade; etc).
Pizza $$ and a Movie on Friday...
We will be having a party the last half of the day on Friday. Students should bring in $$ for pizza (however much you want to contribute, if we don't have enough I'll chip in). Also, bring in a movie (PG only) to watch.
Toothpick Bridges....
Wow!! I never misjudged a Science project as poorly as this one. We spent roughly 7.5 hours on construction and we didn't get close. We burned through about 6000 toothpicks, and about a gallon of glue and we still could have used more supplies.
I do like the engineering that I'm seeing though. I see a lot of truss bridge formats, and teams building high bridges in levels.
My Memorial Day Weekend...
We spent Friday through Monday up at our place at Indian Lake. The cousins stayed over, the grandparents got a new boat, and my family got a golf cart to cruise around in. What a great weekend!!
