Emily (Em-A-LIAH) and Brooke (Supergirl)......
AJ delivered a message to me today from 2 students I had in the past who are now 8th graders at Jackson.  Obviosuly they remember how many group projects they did in 6th grade.  :)

Remember how Supergirl (Brooke) got her name? Click the link:

Up top I have a tab labeled 'Calendars'  please refer to that for all school calendar items.

Fed Ex Day....
Students got into Fed Ex Day groups and went to the computer lab to brainstorm ideas.  I had them log on to my blog, click on 'links page' and then scroll down to 'Science/Fed Ex Day.  Here's a direct link:  http://hi.swcs.us/~matt.morgan/?OpenItemURL=S0829887B

Friday Geocache Challenge.....
I spent a little time today showing students how to use Google Maps to find our Class Geocache.  Here's a refresher:

1.) Get on blog and find geocache screen shots (I usually publish the Friday blog between 5:00 and 6:00 )

2.) Get on google maps ( https://maps.google.com/ )  scroll in and find Grove City.

3.) Search for certain patterns/pictures/etc around Grove CIty that match the screen shots on the blog.

4.)  Once you find the spot, ask an adult to go with you and find it.

5.) Remember the Geocache is hidden within the red circle on the screen shot.

Here's what you are looking for...

Good Luck!!!  Have a great weekend!!!!
