6th graders have an opportunity to take Band, Choir or Orchestra this year.  I've spoken with them many times about what a great opportunity it is for them.  I tell it to them like this-- If you take it and you don't like it, oh well, not the worse thing to happen.  If you take it and you love it, think about how amazing that is.

For those interested in BAND there will be an informational meeting at Hayes on Monday, August 26th @ 7:00pm.

Tomorrow we will have music teachers stopping by to talk about choir, and there will be a band assembly on Monday.


Observation Test...

We started off the school year in Science talking about the process skill of observing.  One of the things I showed them was the paragraph below.  Something is unusual about it.  It is claimed that if you know what is unusual about the paragraph then you have elite observational skills.
