Looking at Rock Crystals Through Microscopes.....
We started our Rocks and Minerals unit today by looking at different rock crystals through a microscope.

 

 

Quia and Adobe Flash.....
Unfortunately the Quia game 'Tags to Riches' that I assigned to both classes needs adobe flash to run, which means students can't complete them using their mobile phones.  Due to this I decided to not assign the game and instead will give points to whoever can complete it.
