Robotics...
I keep telling the kid's that two of the top fields of the future are robotics and nanotechnology. One of the products that have really caught my eye is Lego Mindstorm. I think that it's a great product for kid's who show interest in robotics, programming, engineering; etc.

These people built a fully automated Lego Car assembly line using Lego Mindstorm Tech.  Check it out. 

Pearson Results Week #9....

'Can a Robot Tie a Shoe? ' Lab.........
Students timed each other tying a shoe:

• With bags on their hands.
• Using clothespins as hands.
• Taping popsicle sticks to their thumbs and forefingers.

They then tied this experience to the difficulty of programming a robotic arm to do things.

Thursday is Pizza Party Day!!!!!.......
Bring in any snacks or treats you want along with something to drink.  We will be getting 4 large pepperoni, and 3 large cheese pizza's for winning the Papa John's contest.

No, we won't be playing this game...but it looks awesome, and  I would totally play it with my buddies.
