Alana and Arica's Tri-Board..
I have seen probably thousands of Invention Convention Tri-Boards in my 14 years of teaching 6th graders. This one is easily the most functional in regards to showing off (selling) their invention.

Context:   Alana and Arica invented a device that will house your smartphone in the shower.  You just slide it in a case that is suction-cupped to the shower wall, put the sealed top on, and you can play music, watch video, take phone calls; etc. while you shower.  It's completely functional too because you can still USE your phone while it's in it's case.

What better way to prove it's functionality  to judges than to build a SHOWER into your tri-board. Check this out:

Back of Tri-Board

It even has a tiled wall...and a RUBBER DUCKY!!

Water pouring out like a shower.

Coordinate Grid Game...
For every stage you make it to earn 100-points (power card) .

Elevator Pitch..
Students should practice their Elevator Pitch before Invention Convention Presentations on Monday.
