Math I Test Results...
I was out yesterday, and was unable to grade them today. I will grade them over the break and enter them into inifinite campus. I will also update the blog so you can see the breakdown.
Culp Baby Shower...
March Madness...
Yesterday students collected data from a March Madness game. Unfortunately with me being out we didn't really get the desired results.
Rather than use the data collected yesterday, I chose to use data that I had collected from a game. Students took the T-charts I created, broke the data down into percentages and decimals and then graphed them into circle graphs.
We displayed all the different circle graphs in the front of the room. We analyzed our findings. We looked at turnovers, free-throw percentage, 3-point percentage, rebounding, fouls and points in the paint. Then students were given the results of 8 games from yesterday and had to determine based on the data which game our data is from. We watched the games while we worked.
My Friend is a Michigan State Fan...
One of my old high school friends is a huge Michigan State fan, and any time they win he feels the need to text me about it.
This year, his nephew, Joey, happens to be in my class. Joey is an Ohio State fan, and understands the need to get under his uncle's skin.
Today my buddy sent me a text to rub in the OSU loss, he told me to make sure that Joey also got the message. We got the message, but then we sent back this:
Friday Geocache Challenge...
I want to thank Sydney and her father (who was just as disappointed with the Buckeye game yesterday, as I was) for hiding the geocache. The first to find gets a 'Dream Card' and the following 4 get 1000-point power cards. Good luck and have a great weekend!!
