Connor and Jaron...
A past student of mine, Connor Estep, came in and showed us the latest with his invention from last year's Invention Convention. Connor (and his partner Jaron Routh) won an award at Columbus State's Regional Invention Convention. Afterwards they entered into the Bridge the Gap Program. Through the program Connor and Jaron modified and improved their invention (which helps people garden without hurting their back) learned about market strategies and even had the opportunity to speak in front of some real time 'Big Wig Business Men' about their experience. Very proud of these two kids.
If any of my kids would like more info on Bridge the Gap (which is a free program) go here: http://www.just-think-inc.com/documents/bridge_the_gap.pdf

Without a need to bend over, this invention allows the user to remain upright while digging a hole in dirt and planting a seed. |
