Video of the Week....
I am starting off the video of the week with my submission of the East West Bowl. For the rest of the year I will be taking student requests. To submit a request, write down your name, title of video, and length of the video and put it in the 'Video Request' box on the window sill. If I choose yours we will watch 2-3 minutes of your video next Wednesday.
Resiliency questions are for Math I students only. However, if any Math II wants the challenge, by all means try it. Students are given a week to complete the question. Student's MUST SHOW EVIDENCE for how they came to their answer. Resiliency questions do go in the grade book, but you do not need to get a correct answer to receive full points. You do need to show your work in a logical way if you want full credit.
Here is the Week 1 Resiliency Question. It is not due until 9/9.
Point Card Challenge....
Every Wednesday I do the point card challenge. Somewhere in the room I will hide point cards, which you can use as points for your team. I will give a clue in the form of a picture. On Thursday morning during homeroom look in the spot corresponding to the picture and you will find point cards. Please grab just one.
