How do I explain this?  

Somehow my homeroom talked me into letting them do something completely random. On the condition that they bring in 50 cans for the canned food drive the following day, I would let them completely confuse the kids and teachers out on recess by having Madeline and Emma sword (meter stick) fight across the quad. 

Guess what?  They brought in over 100, and this happened--

Then they talked me into letting Mike walk up to the picnic table where the recess aides are, stand on it and say 'Hi, my name is Steve', if they brought in 50 cans the following day.

Well....you guessed...Back to back days of 100 cans brought in for the food drive. 

My job is weird.  ;)


Students working on Newton's 3 Laws of Motion foldables. I will pick a Top 5 from each class.  Those 5 will receive candy and 200 points for their team. Due date: Tuesday.
