Extra Credit (Opportunity)
We had less-than-stellar scores on our Matter, Atoms and Elements quiz. Today I will go through each question and show you all that every item on the quiz was on the study guide.

I am giving you all an opportunity to improve your score dramatically. However, you are going to have to WANT to do better, and you are going to have to follow DETAILS.

I am giving you a chance to earn up to 15 points to be added to your quiz. Here is how it works:

I am giving you a worksheet on atomic structure.
You are to complete it at home only.
You must turn it in on your own AS SOON AS YOU ARRIVE on Monday (during homeroom) before you start the day. I will not take at any other time.
You must complete all of it and score 80% or higher.

If you complete the worksheet, turn it in on time and score an 80% or above- you will earn 5 points to be added to your quiz score. You will also earn an additional OPPORTUNITY to be quizzed on it again on Tuesday. Depending on how you do on that quiz, you could earn UP TO an additional 10 points. So, if you play your cards right you could earn 15 points to be added to your quiz.

Now that's an opportunity. :)
