Friday!!

Calendar items...
* If you haven't already please make sure you get your 5-10 items for the classification lab on Monday.
* Tuesday 8/28, we will have our first Fed Ex Day Brainstorm.  All other Fed Ex Days will take place on Fridays.
* Pearson (online):  2 Math assignments due by Friday  9/1 .
*  Thursday 8/30, students who want to be in student council may get up and say a short speech to their classmates.  2 students will be elected to represent our classroom.

Science: 
We are studying  5 process skills of Science (Observing, Classification, Measurement, Inferencing, and Predicting).  Today we discussed classification and why we do it.  As a class we made a dichotomos key classifying our own shoes.  Each student took off one shoe and we sorted them into diverging groups until all shoes were identified.

Finished up Target 1.1.  They discussed and answered questions involving factors in groups.  They worked on p. 14  #1 - 10 .
