Last year, I blogged everyday about our school day. Basically in the blog I...
- Summarized what we did in class that day.
- Linked educational resources and games.
- Posted student work.
- Posted notes and powerpoints from the day.
- Posted pictures, funny anecdotes and humorous rantings.
This year, I will be doing the same thing but on a different website. Due to this transition, it will take me some time to get this website up to the standards that I want. I hope to have it fully formed by mid-September.
There is one major change from last year that I must note. I will not be able to blog on Thursdays. My daughter, Brooklyn, has dance class those days and I gotta get home and get her to it. Other than that you can expect a blog daily.
I like to think of my website as a major hub for student, parent, and school communication, as well as a resource and instructional tool for learning. So, please save this site if you can and visit often.
Thanks,
Mr. Morgan
Welcome Back!!

Science: We went over expectations. Talked about making observations and then played an observation game.
Math: I introduced students to our online world (weekly short-cycle assessments, Quia, class website). We also looked at our new Math books and went over the targets for the first unit. Students: You can get a 100-point card if you get on Quia and play either the matching or concentration games.
During BCO we went played a few team building games and then called it a day.

Playing the game 'Who am I?'
