I gotta share this...
Yesterday, I rushed home to get Brooklyn ready for dance. I get home, and time is not on my side.
Of course, as it always seems to be, my daughter, Brooklyn, is moving about as fast and efficiently as out-sourced tech support. So, as I'm hecticly scurrying about, trying to get her going, my son Cooper starts crying and shrieking uncontrollably. Why? Because he can.
Anyhow, I'm trying to usher Brooklyn through a gauntlet of pink lace and ballet shoes, and Cooper is cry-shrieking at the top of his baby lungs, and my sanity is starting to lose its grip. So, I picked Cooper up as a way of relieving the pressure building up in my skull. Of course this now means I have just one arm to hurry up my daughter with....AAANNNDDDD now, the degree of difficulty just hit 'olympic gymnast' levels..
Time is ticking, my sanity is slipping.......When suddenly..... I enter some other dimension. The fabric of time seems to have been torn apart by my own sheer will. I can't really recall what happened next, I just remember walking into the dance studio with Cooper and Brooklyn... just in time.
So, all seems fine and good. Got Brooklyn to dance, dressed and on time.....just one question;
Why was Cooper with me?
I still don't know the answer...
All I know is that when I'm in a state of perpetual motion EVERYTHING gets sucked into my orbit. Including my own children. :)

Infinite Campus
If you haven't gotten on yet, you really should. It's an excellent way to track your child's progress, see what assignments are due, and what they scored on tests, quizzes and projects.
Math I Quizzes
I haven't got them graded yet but hope to do so by end of the day on Monday.
Fundraiser
Students will be coming home with a big fundraising packet. It's a great way for students to win some cool prizes and raise money for school.

Math I and Math II:
We had a Pearson Success Day. In groups (Math I), or individually (Math II) we looked at last week's questions, worked them out on whiteboards, and I gave out raffle tickets for those who scored correctly. Math II also had another challenge question. Yesterday's was lateral thinking, today we did one on spatial awareness.
Today's Spatial Awareness question:
Cut up this circle so that each smaller circle is in its own section. You may draw only 3 STRAIGHT lines to do so.
