We sent out confirmation with students.  There were a few we couldn't squeeze in, but are willing to meet on a diifferent date.


Geocache......

7 students and one passerby that identified themselves as 'Walking the Dog. Ha Ha' signed last weekend geocache log.

Licorice!!!.......

During our current Math unit:  Bits and Pieces, we've had a few problems that dealt with the equally dividing up and sharing of licorice lace.  Grace surprised our class by bringing in some twizzlers pull-and-peel licorice for the entire class.

Way cool of her.

In the past we have talked about how annoying it is when someone just simply bites into a pull-and-peel licorice or string cheese. I ask of all of you-- please don't do that. :)

Math Resilency......

Critical Thinker....

Only Devin and Josh were able to figure it out and they both received a 500-point card.

In Class Today....

Science:
We read and took notes over Forces and Motion Lesson 1:  What Happens when Forces Act on Objects?

Writing:
We worked on our Wordstudy Packets.  We worked on our Directions Pre-Write (which is due tomorrow).

Math I:
Bits and Pieces 2.2:  Finding Equivalenty Fractions.
We worked on problem 2.2 in class, we had a few struggles with it, so I didn't assign ACE practice.  We will finish up 2.2 tomorrow.

Math II:
Bits and Pieces 3.2:  Making Even Smaller Parts.
We worked on Problem 3.2.  Students had to finish problem 3.2 (A-D) in class or by the end of BCO.
