No Quiz...
There will be no quiz on Body Systems Lesson 5.  These kids have been hit with so many assessments (OAA, IOWA, etc.) that they need a break.

IOWA...
Students to the IOWA test today which measures Algebraic Aptitude.

Need Toothpicks, Clothespins and Glue...
We will be starting our Bridge Building Contest on Friday.  I am in DESPERATE need of toothpicks, clothespins and Elmer's glue (liquid).  If anyone could donate some for our class it would be GREATLY...and I mean GREATLY appreciated.

Invention Convention...
received notification from Just Think Inc (Invention Convention) of the judging times for the finalists competing at Columbus State.   I gave a paper with the time on it to each student.

Logan made the Honor Roll...
So, we had an Honor Roll assembly today.  During these assemblies the students stand up and are recognized in front of the whole 6th grade.  All I do is simply stand up and read off the list of Honor Roll students along with our VIP's (Very Improved Performance) and MIP (Most Improved Performance).

Today, as I was reading them off, I forgot to mention Logan. I have no idea why?  I just skipped over his name. It was a mistake.  So today during BCO, I made sure people knew about Logan and his wonderful accomplishment.

A Contrast in Behavior...

Appropriate library behavior:
Alex and Logan at the library

 Inappropriate library behavior:
Cooper at the library yesterday
