In Class Today....

Science:
We had an intro into soil formation.  We journaled the words organic matter, and humus.  We also copied down this picture into our notes:

We then watched a really cheesy video on soil formation. Finally we got into our Fed Ex groups and talked about what our focus for tomorrow is.

Writing:

We finished our Peer Edits, gave them back, and read our edits.  Final copies are due Thursday, October 11th.

Math I:

We played a review basketball game for our Prime Time Investigation 3 Quiz Retake.



Math II: 
Student recieved another Resiliency Question.

We then put what we learned about factors, multiples, LCM, GCF, Venn Diagrams, prime factorization to use all at once.

We found the LCM and GCF of pairs of numbers by prime factoring them, placing them in a venn diagram and then multiplying the middle #'s for GCF and all the #'s for the LCM. I assigned the below to be done by the end of BCO....
