The Solution:
The Locker Problem...
So, I have this Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde part of me. When it comes to Science, I love the robust, bold, creative, and intriguing. In Math, I love to see organization, patterns and symmetry.
Basically, in Science I like expressions of chaos, and in Math, order.
Here are 2 locker problem answers that really scratched that Math itch for me:

Nice job, Andrew P.!! |

Way to go, Calista!! |
In Class Today....
Science:
We reviewed for tomorrow's test by playing a Review Game called 'The Big Wheel'. The powerpoint is in the listing folder. All students have the following to study from: The book, notes, Rags-to-Riches game on Quia, Survivor Powerpoint (on the Listing Folder), the Big Wheel Powerpoint (on the Listing Folder).

If a group got an answer right they would come up spin the wheel, and then shoot a bball shot for points. |
Writing:
We played Hangman and Matching on Quia. Students also worked on Wordstudy Packets and their Descriptive Journal Final Copies that are due tomorrow by BCO (note: we will have 45 minutes of computer lab time to work on it tomorrow)
Math I:
We worked on Prime Factorizing numbers, and then putting those prime numbers in a Venn Diagram as a means of finding out the GCF and LCM of two numbers.
Math II:
We went over the resiliency question, and then we went over the Prime Time: Investigation 4 quiz. One of the most frequently missed questions on the quiz was the 'What Number am I?' piece. So we did a few of those questions and discussed our strategies. I then gave them this worksheet to complete:
100-point Clue:
Do you know what a single-access key is? I bet you do and don't even realize it. The point cards are behind a single-access key.
